Khaki Weber is an experienced health care professional with a comprehensive background in all aspects of clinical and supply chain management. She is partner with Weber & Associates Consulting, Inc. with a focus on suppliers and manufacturers. Her consulting work includes industry education, product expertise, sales and marketing, strategic planning, development, implementation; industry relations building and executive development and project management expertise in a turbulent industry. As RN, she served in the areas of Med Surg, Women’s and Children’s, Prenatal Instructor, Oncology, & Surgical Services. Khaki worked for Bon Secours Richmond Health System, Bethesda Hospitals & Henrico Doctor’s Hospital. After a successful nursing career, Khaki migrated to health care supply chain management by serving as a hospital Clinical Director of MM and Procurement. Served as Director of Supplier Relations & Product Development for Owens & Minor, Inc., where her primary responsibilities were working with key suppliers, operational and strategic direction of product development, sourcing & marketing with field & customer support for MediChoice, Owens & Minor’s private brand. Under her care, the brand gained recognition for increased quality & clinical acceptability. The brand grew on average of 12.5% per year under her stewardship and now exceeds $200m in annual sales. Khaki is adjunct professor with Strayer University’s Business Administration Department where she teaches classes including courses in Materials Management, E-Commerce, Organizational Behavior, Business Fundamentals and Management. She also teaches with the University of Phoenix in the Health & Human Services Dept with a focus on the Financing of Healthcare from a provider perspective. Khaki holds degrees from J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College (ADAS/Nursing) and Averett University (BBA & MBA). Affiliations include: AHRMM, VAHRMM (past officer).
