The AB BED is an innovative exercise machine that permits individuals to strengthen and tone their core muscles comfortably while reducing the risks of injury or re-injury.
This is an ideal exercise device as it is a training tool for athletes but also for people recovering from injuries or who have limited core strength.
How the AB BED Works:
The patented design of the AB BED completely revolutionizes the abdominal workout by placing the user in a comfortable, lay-flat position which eliminates stress on the neck and back.
The AB BED incorporates hinged, contoured panels that support your body along its entire length. These panels flex and pivot to move in conjunction with the natural flow of your body, enabling a wide variety of exercises to strengthen and tone the upper and lower abdominals, obliques, hip flexors, hamstrings and gluteal muscles – all while reducing the risk of injury.

Under-strength individuals
By placing the user in a comfortable, lay-flat position, the AB BED allows people who lack significant core strength to exercise their core with appropriate levels of resistance. For example, while lying on their back—fully-supported along their length—the user can exercise their oblique muscles by simply bending sideways.
While lying on their side— again, fully supported along the length of their body—the user can perform leg raises with less resistance than gravity or the weight of their legs. This ability to perform very low-resistance exercises allows under-strength users to build their strength gradually.
How We Will Use Your Contributions
Years of hard work and detailed design iterations have produced a well-engineered and field tested prototype AB BED. However, in order to get our first AB BEDs into the hands of end users and start making a difference in their lives, we must build a critical mass of orders. These funds will be used for our first production run.
By meeting our goal, we will be able to overcome the costs of tooling and manufacturing setup, and begin producing our first set of AB BEDs at a price that is affordable to end users.
