Successfully provided Population Health Management Programs to Anthem and Cigna for Medicare Advantage. We uncovered an opportunity in that the elderly either do not own a smartphone or if they did, they did not use applications or texting. This caused a problem for managed care as these members where the highest risk and most costly and were not engaged in programs to improve their Medication Adherence (STAR program) or compliant with requirements to manage their medical condition (CARE Gap Program). We decided to piggyback off an existing $6 billion dollar Personal Emergency Response Service Market (i.e. LifeAlert) and provide new technology and features via the smartwatch as the device to monitor and manage the health of users, especially seniors. We integrated our health management eco-system with Samsung Galaxy and Active 2 watches and then integrated that platform with Telehealth and Remote Patient Monitoring. Management of WellCare Today are seasoned professionals who launched tech companies before and earned #32 on Deloitte's NJ Technology Fast 50.
