MedStartr Invests in and aceelerators teams that do well in our online and offline contests and crowd-challenges. Our diverse crowd of patients, doctors, nurses, clinicians of all types, and healthcare leaders from hospitals and industry come and read about your ideas, watch your videos and get involved, from liking and tweeting to piloting and investing. We look at all the data and select the top teams based on how the crowd reacts and put them on stage at events like SXSW, HIMSS, HLTH and in your local community. We then invest in the winners of these contests, after doing traditional due diligence. We have been doing this since 2015 and it works quite well.
