Lisa Caplan, BS, DNP, RN, CCRN, TNCC over 35 years of critical care experience and son Nathaniel Wright developed an alternative restraint device. Our goal was to improve the safety, comfort and improve freedom of movement for intubated critical care patients in the ICU. With our design, knowledge, and experience we created a patented medical device called HEALIX. This innovation keeps patients safe while maintaining invasive monitoring equipment and adjunct airway devices.
