Join us for the Live Pitch Event Every Friaday in the MedStartr Healthcare Innovators

 

 

We have spent the last 4 months bulidng a community of highly engaged healthcare enthusists on Clubhouse. We have teamed up with fellow clubs on the platfrom to find the very best healthcare startup. Every club will hold events promoting the teams that enter to get as much attention to your product as possible. 

MedStartr and 3 other clubs to run this challenge, each with their, each with their own unique topic and prizes.  Each club is is listed below to learn more about what they are looking for, and how they can help you. 

Finalists will be by a panel of club leaders, the MedStartr Mentor network and the vast crowds of healthcare stakeholders that will come to the site to review your projects - including you!  Finalists will have the chance to pitch their company in each clubs' room in front of thousands of stakeholders and be connected to funding opportunities, pilot programs, incubator accelerators, partnerships and more.

Who is MedStartr  
MedStartr is a global community of healthcare innovation enthustiasts run by the same people who created this club. We run events, challenges (like this one) an acceletor, a crowdingfunding site (you are there now :) ) and an investement fund all focused on advancing healthcare innovations and the amazing people leading those efforts. 

The logo represents the four key stakeholder groups collborating to improve healthcare. Patients, Care Providers, Institutions, and Partners. With the input, support and buy in from all, innovation goes faster.

The healthcare enviroment with its packed work days, demanding pace, time pressures, and emotional intensity which puts physicians and other clinicians at high risk for burnout. Burnout is long-term stress reaction marked by emational exhuastion, depersonaliztion and lack of personal accomplishment.

Who is CardioTech

CardioTech is a community of over a thousand cardiologist and technologists focused on eneding cardiovascular disease. Cardiovascular is the number one killer in america and the number 1 cost budern in our healthcare system.

They are looking for compaines that is improving heart health and helping end or manage cardiovascular disease. 

How does a Crowd Challenge Work?

In Phase I your project will be listed in an online Crowdfunding showcase where millions will be invited to review your ideas online. The teams that get the most interest and adoption from doctors, patients, partners, institutions, investors, advisors and more will be reviewed by the panel of judges.

Based upon the expert reviews and the crowd’s support for the projects five teams, broken down into three different pitch contests by general area depending on grouping of applications, will be invited to take the stage during New Orleans Health Innovators Challenge Finals in March 2019 in front of an audience of healthcare leaders, partners, insurers, and investors from New Orleans and beyond. Selected finalist(s) will be eligible for partner prizes, pilot opportunities, and in-kind rewards. Winners of the New Orleans Health Innovators Challenge will also be presented to the MedStartr Venture Fund for inclusion in their Aceleration program which provides over $250,000 in funding, services and support for healthcare startups and grows companies on average over 5x in their first year. Read more about how crowd challenges work here.
