About Me

Charlie Wund is the Founder & President of the Agency for Student Health Research, a company dedicated to achieving the safest possible environment for all children through #InjureFree. He dedicates his efforts towards promoting injury prevention among youth athletes. This passion stems from his experiences as an NCAA athlete in the sports of football, lacrosse and rugby. Both of his parents were teachers and he was an athletic administrator for over ten years at the youth sports, high school and non-profit levels. Charlie has a neck for problem solving, as he recognized the growing need for improved access to healthcare in the pediatric market. By creating the Agency for Student Health Research, Charlie positioned his company at the cross sector of the emerging youth sports technology, healthcare, and insurance tech markets. With a primary focus on data collection, #InjureFree is now one of the largest data repositories for pediatric acute injury/illness information in the world. The InjureFree platform is a student accident reporting system which streamlines care communication and incident documentation in pediatric markets, currently covering 1% of the US market. Often, the platform is deployed by a health system into a regional population to facilitate communication between caregivers in the fragmented ecosystem. This also includes parents. Once an injury is logged, often parents are left to find appropriate care on their own. #InjureFree is now exploring partnership which facilitate easy/quick access to health care.
