About Me

My core expertise is helping software companies in the healthcare IT market grow revenues and gain market share. Faced with the fast-changing regulatory landscape in healthcare, product management leaders have to be agile in creating the software products healthcare organizations need now. To that end, as Senior Vice President of Product Management at SPH Analytics, I worked to shift the product focus to the new Pay-for-Performance, value-based medicine that is gradually replacing fee-based services. I drove the development of innovative new cloud-based hosted solutions and released more than five of them to market. At the same time, I built product management teams of up to 17 and established the company’s first formal product management processes. Previously, I was a key player in the launch and development of another Health IT company. In 1995 my business partners and I founded a company that we built and then sold to Quality Systems (QSI). In 2000, QSI formed NextGen Healthcare. At NextGen, I orchestrated the shift from legacy software products to software delivered in the cloud in a managed services model. Building high performance global teams through leadership, mentoring, and talent development is important to me and I am proud of my 97% staff retention rate.
