With more than 14 years of experience in providing expedient emergency care, Dr. Jalil Thurber realizes the importance of helping patients better understand their own health and wellness. As CEO of Symptify, Dr. Thurber oversees the development of Symptify.com and the Symptify application. He is the driving force and vision behind Symptify. Board Certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine, Dr. Thurber received his training at the University of Texas at Houston. He brings an innovative perspective to consumer healthcare technology. From groundbreaking research in the laboratory of Nobel Laureate Dr. Ferid Murad at the University of Texas, to caring for the indigenous people in his native Honduras, Jalil has been focused on advancing applied medical knowledge throughout his career. A gifted scientist, software architect and humble clinician, Jalil Thurber is the agile leader that drives the founders of Symptify to push their vision into new and innovative directions.
