About Me

Dr. Aurora Maher obtained her Ph.D. at Carnegie Mellon University. She started her career in 2005 as a quantitative strategist at a Merrill Lynch proprietary trading group, where she managed portfolios valued in hundreds of millions of dollars. Later she worked at McKinsey Investment Office and other private funds including Hedera Capital, which she co-founded. At AMFA, Dr. Maher works closely with investors and clients, not only helping them meet financial investment goals using AMFA's strategies, but also helping them to understand other investment opportunities they may encounter.
