After graduating from university, I spent 12 years in international business promoting and selling fast moving consumer goods to the Asian region. I developed international sales and marketing plans, and negotiated the purchase and sale of U.S. food products on both spot and long term contract basis. I built long term customer relationships by understanding their product specifications, organizing mixed product shipments and timely deliveries, and negotiating payment terms. I increased export sales by making regular overseas sales trips and participating in international trade shows. To expand my sales and territory management skills, I then successfully made the transition to selling capital medical and coding equipment within the U.S. and Australian domestic markets. During the past 15 years, I've become proficient in managing long sales cycles, solutions selling, prospecting and closing sales leads, identifying and meeting the needs of key decision makers, and setting up and conducting demonstrations.
