The problem we solve: • Chronic Disease Care – Medical payers are increasingly focusing on reducing chronic disease population given 75% of the health expenditure in the US are due to chronic disease care. It accounts for 81% of hospital admissions, 91% of all prescriptions, and 76% of all physician visits.
• Elderly Health Care – 1.2 billion people over the age of 60 worldwide and growing will outpace the number of caregivers available. Families and insurances are increasingly looking for effective in-home elderly health care solutions.
• Corporate & Consumer Health – Employers and consumers are spending ever more increasingly on better-optimized healthcare. Unhealthy employees cost businesses $153 billion in lost productivity. Large employers in US spend $878 per employees annually to encourage better health that are value driven.
About our solution:
A. Health Assessment - Health information are collected from our patented health scanner - the only single device capable of capturing 33 health metrics in < 60 seconds including critical vital signs - combined with the patient’s electronic health records as well as psychological and behavioral data from our mobile app (DYNOLIFE) to provide an accurate history of each individual’s health.
B. Health Management – The collected data that is stored in the cloud will then be analyzed in our secure HIPAA platform (DYNOCLOUD) and restructured into a personalized and actionable data to identify the health conditions of the individual. We generate a proprietary “Health Score” & “Health Grade”. Our analytics and machine learning engines will analyze risk factors and provide customized suggestions. Care providers are given access to a dashboard where they can monitor the individuals’ periodic status, habits and receive alerts of any troubling changes in the patient’s routine.
Progress to
date:We have pre-production units available now for pilots, while production units available by Aug '17. Multiple MOUs have been signed with partners and customers in US and Asia.
We have conducted successful clinical trials domestically and internationally, and generated some revenues.
The company has also garnered various prizes and awards for highly innovative products and technologies.
DynoSense has successfully raised a Series A investment round of $9.4M.
We have filed 17 patents, out of which 5 have been granted.
We also have received regulatory approval of ISO 13485, CE, Health Canada, Singapore HSA, and both FDA and CFDA have been filed and pending approval. Our system is HIPAA compliant.

Bio: Dr. Nik Tehrani is currently Vice-President of Business Development for DynoSense Corp., one of the leaders in emerging advanced remote monitoring of health and preventive care solutions. He has over 25 years of experience in business management, marketing, and supply chain development and implementation. Dr. Tehrani is also Chair of the Education Committee of the Health Information Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Northern California Chapter, as well as a member of the HIMSS Innovation and Technology Committee. His interests are developing marketing tools for patient engagement, digital health, and enhancing patient experience. In addition, Dr. Tehrani has over 16 years of teaching experience as a lecturer and professor at various universities in the San Francisco Bay Area. Prior to DynoSense, he was President and CEO of Savitron, Inc., an Electronic Manufacturing Solution Company; Global Director of Program Management at Sanmina-SCI, a leading EMS provider; Managing Director and Founder of Majital Solutions, a marketing and engineering consulting company; and Vice- President of Marketing and Engineering of ACI, an Electronic Manufacturing Company. He earned his PhD in Business Administration from Northcentral University, holds an MBA with a specialization in Executive Management from Pepperdine University and a BS in Electrical Engineering. He also has over 8 years of experience advising and mentoring university graduate students, and currently serves as a Dissertation Committee Chair and Member at Argosy University, San Francisco Bay. Dr. Tehrani has also taught management, marketing and business courses in Finland, China, Taiwan, Korea, Vietnam, and Chile.
