The problem we solve: Underserved patient populations have limited access to care.
About our solution: Certintell provides telemedicine services to the low-income underserved population and help address the U.S. healthcare systems’ twin challenges of rapidly rising and unsustainable costs and the growing gap in access to primary care physicians. By providing a patient-to-provider remote communication tool, the company found that it could address helping providers and patients coordinate care and improve access to services.
Progress to date:In 2016, Certintell began offering its virtual care management technology to PCMHs and organizations focused on value-based care models for the underserved.Creator: Huzefa Dossaji

How We Address the Mission of The Challenge(s)
Our uCare Connect platform directly relates to the mission of this challenge as we provide a solution for health centers and hospitals to increase access to care for their patient population. Particularly by using virtual visits and secure messaging through our web and mobile applications, allows providers to be able to engage, connect with and monitor their patients (especially uninsured, under-insured and low-income population) from anywhere, saving costs especially travel, lost hourly wages and helping to prevent unnecessary visits to the ER.New Orleans and Our Company
