What is SXT Health
SXT Health CIC (www.sxt.org.uk) is a not for profit social enterprise whose mission is to improve sexual and reproductive health. It was founded by a start-up grant from UnLtd / 4iP and then an innovation award from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Charity. The Director, Dr Anatole S Menon-Johansson, also works as the clinical lead for the first seven day a week NHS sexual health service (www.burrellstreet.co.uk) and clinical director for the charity Brook (www.brook.org.uk).
We serve clients with high quality information in under a minute and local real-time information about where they can find an appropriate health care provider.
Our website serves providers by allowing them to control their web presence in SXT so that when they change their service we can keep up too with just a few clicks of the mouse.
Sexual Health educators benefit from a simple platform to deliver high quality information and answer the inevitable question “Where is the nearest service for …..?”
Finally, SXT offers a powerful platform for public health digital marketing to help clients find the right service in the right place at the right time.
SXT has 100 active users and we already provide real-time information about a local providers to four clients a day in London. Our goal is to replicate this success across the whole of the United Kingdom and then the Americas.
The money requested will fund the following steps:
1. Upgrade website to fully support internet providers of care, educators and add all the key providers of services ($5,000) [Software partner Bitzesty]
2. Produce an application programming interface (API) to share SXT data with helplines, other websites and providers of services ($10,000) [interested partner iDoc24 http://www.idoc24.com]
3. Develop a simple and if requested anonymous way for partners and friends to share SXT content by web, mobile & text ($5000)
4. Support clients who cannot access a service & capture unmet need with the latest touch/scan technology ($10,000) [interested partner Connecthings http://www.connecthings.com/en/]
5. Translate SXT into Spanish and launch in the USA ($10,000) [interested partner Universal Doctor http://www.universaldoctor.com]
6. Develop an appointment on line service within SXT ($10,000) [interested partner Doctoralia http://www.doctoralia.com]
7. Run a series of iterative digital public health marketing campaigns that use Google Ads, Facebook & Twitter ($10,000) [SXT has run two campaigns and can calculate return on investment per clinic click]
8. Develop peer to peer sexual education across 24 United Kingdom cities ($10000) [interested partner Sexpression http://www.sexpression.org.uk]
9. Project manager for the next round of changes ($20,000)
