The problem we solve: Communication is critical in providing patient-centered care at it's highest level. We developed an intuitive touch screen user interface that enables staff the ability to communicate directly with one another, physicians and family members the goal was to close any avenues towards inefficiency and possibly tragedy.

Aton, a patient management platform in combination with biometric, data-driven, wearable technology and next generation UI/UX design.
Progress to
date:Phase One of the Aton development process is complete, we now have a functional prototype. The response from medical professional user testing has been amazing and insightful. We gained a profound understanding for how important communication among all stake holders is.
We are now ready to begin phase 2 which will alow us to refine the Aton Dash-Board and wearable device conduct additional user testing

Bio: Aton is a next generation resident management tracking and monitoring platform designed specifically for residential care facilities, assisted living residences, board and care homes, congregate care, enriched housing programs, homes for the aged; personal care homes and shared housing establishments that are licensed, registered, listed, certified, or otherwise regulated by a state. An assisted living facility product needs to balance the needs of vulnerable people for safety and support, while preserving their privacy and autonomy.
With occupancy rates for Assisted Living Facilities on the rise, an estimated 88.3 percent range through 2017, according to recent projections from the National Investment Center (NIC) for Seniors Housing and Care. Aton was developed with our core mission, unparalleled safety. Due to recent natural disasters some Assisted Living Facility residents have been left vulnerable leading up to the extent of loss of life. We believe that in this day and age that these situations should not exist are problems that can be solved through resident centered care innovation.
Aton's resident management platform is combination of wearable technology and intuitive user centered design ensuring biocompatibility and monitoring accuracy requirements for FDA and CE approval. It works by empowering facility staff with the ability to monitor the vital statistics and precise location of every resident in real time 24 hours a day 7 days a week, on site or remotely, but we didn't stop there, after speaking with numerous (ALS) professionals we gained a profound understanding for how important communication among staff is. We learned that communication is critical in providing resident care at it's highest level.
