Natural Therapies are an ever-growing profession with its place in primary healthcare. The problem though, is that it is not taken seriously enough by modern medicine. This is why I am asking for your help, so I can get Garden Gypsy to be considered by the medical profession and prove that Garden Gypsy can prove its worth!
How many times have you been to the doctor with a rash, shingles, eczema or other skin condition and they have prescribed the same old steroid or cortisone cream? It might be a temporary fix, but don’t you want something that lasts longer, is natural and safer on your skin longer term? Wouldn’t you like to find more of these remedies on pharmacy shelves all over the country?
Garden Gypsy have the answers to all of the above and best of all, we are affordable and you would be supporting an Adelaide-born business!
We are raising funds to patent at least one of our products and apply for TGA approval.
We will be attempting to raise at least $1540 to patent either Phoenix Flame, Thistle Thief or Thistle Thief Mature. Ultimately I would love to raise more to fund more applications! We are going for ALL OR NOTHING so please give it your all!
What is the TGA? TGA stands for the Therapeutic Goods Administration and it is the government body of Australia that regulates any medicine that makes a therapeutic claim like the FDA in America. Even Lucas’s Paw Paw Ointment and Vicks are registered with the TGA! Any therapeutic claims for any physiological change needs to be approved. Some of the therapeutic claims I want to make are:
~ For Thistle Thief Mature > to say that it reduces the effects of chilblains, assists circulation and aids the body to heal.
~ For Phoenix Flame > to say that it expels pain and itching of insect bites, cools and heals burns and sunburn and reduces inflammation.
These products work and TGA approval will cement this to the skeptics!

So not only will we be able to have a foothold in the healthcare industry, but if I am able to patent my products, it means that my formulas will be safe from being copied by corporate giants such as Sukin, Dermeze and QV.
WHAT THIS MEANS is that I will be asking if anyone is able to contribute to this cause. I will encourage you to forward my fundraising project to your friends and family too. Promote Garden Gypsy and encourage an SA business to finally get their stamp in our Health Care industry! You can contribute anything form $10 to $450 but it doesn’t stop you from purchasing a combination of rewards to give to your friends and family. You would be doing two good deeds at once!
So please watch the video to get a more in-depth idea of what I am trying to do and spread the word! And please try to ignore the chatty Rosella’s in the background of the video! They love the nectar from my Umbrella Tree!
